Wendee Glick
Talented, charismatic jazz singer with a roaring voice, Wendee Glick arrived in 2002 with a strong debut album and an impressive pedigree in the arts. Based in the New England area, Glick grew to love jazz from her mother's career as a singer. She joined the choral troupe that put on the America's Youth in Concert tour, and soon was at the University of Lowell studying music. Growing a fondness for jazz legends like Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn, Glick began to perform around her area and was soon a fixture in several New England jazz clubs. Using her newfound notoriety to advance her career, she produced her debut CD, Baby I'm Fine, in the spring of 2002. Released that fall, she received good notices from magazines and radio stations in the area as well as Down Beat Magazine. Read more on Last.fm.
